Everyone in Stowe this morning is busy digging out from a powerful Nor'easter that left heaping piles of pre-Christmas snow. Reports from the mountain are 22 inches. Well over a foot fell in town between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.(below)Fresh snow clings to pines that line Gold Brook in Stowe Hollow.
(bottom)Snowplows have been busy clearing roads since the wee hours of the morning. Here two meet at the corner of School and Pond Street in Stowe village.
