As a player for stowe high field hockey I find this picture to be incredibly offensive. It seems as though the stowe reporter has taken on the persona of the Rice reporter as you triumphantly announced our loss with a picture of the rice girls rushing onto the field. I think maybe a picture of one of our players and a less derogatory caption would have been more appropriate. Instead the picture practically celebrated our loss, when in fact it was devestating to us. I know that all of the players and the coaches are very upset, as am I, and i think that the picture chosedn for teh front page of teh newspaper was extreemly out of line.
